Supporting Candidates that Support Agriculture and the Values of Rural Montanans…

September 14, 2020 Dear Elsie Arntzen,

The Montana Farm Bureau PAC was created to help elect individuals interested in promoting the business of production agriculture in Montana. The changing political climate in Montana makes it increasingly important to put more boots under the desks in Helena.

The MFBF state office is located in Bozeman and we have active County Farm Bureau organizations representing all 56 counties with roughly 20,000 member families representing the voice of agriculture. All Farm Bureau policy originates in these county organizations. Our volunteers and staff are active in local, state and federal issues relating to agricultural operations and rural living.

The Montana Farm Bureau PAC is a nonpartisan, voluntarily funded committee of people who seek to promote the interest of Montana’s agricultural industry in state government – we support candidates that support agriculture.

State issues of interest to our membership include but are not limited to:

  • A tax system promoting business opportunities and simplicity
  • Production agriculture issues including animals and crops
  • Economic and rural development
  • Weed control and prevention
  • Private property rights protection
  • Reasonable environmental laws
  • Energy

We are happy to congratulate you on being endorsed by the Farm Bureau PAC! We hope our endorsement will be of value to you in the upcoming election. If you have questions or would like to visit further please let us know. We look forward to working with you in the future.

Sincerely,

Rachel Cone
